The final season of the popular Home Box Office (HBO) Game of Thrones premiered on Sunday, April 14 in the US, while the UK premiere holds on Monday, April 15.
It would also premiere in Lagos, on Monday, April 15, at the Harbour point, Victoria Island, by 7pm. The movie premiere is sponsored by DStv Premium in partnership with White Walker by Johnnie Walker.
The final season will have only six episodes and it is the shortest in the movie series. The first six seasons had 10 episodes each while season 7 had seven episodes.
The first two episodes are less than one hour, but the other episodes are over one hour. The timing are as follows.
- Episode 1: 54 minutes
- Episode 2: 58 minutes
- Episode 3: 1 hr 22 mins
- Episode 4: 1 hr 18 mins
- Episode 5: 1 hr 20 mins
- Episode 6:1 hr 20 mins
The first episode in the season is the only one without ‘Adult Content’. Episode two to six have adult content.

The leaked cast list revealed a couple of surprise inclusions, namely Kristofer Hivju and Richard Dormer.
