The vote of no-confidence motion was moved by the Leader of the House, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila.
The lawmakers also passed a vote of no confidence in the Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, who was also absent at the gathering.
Fayemi, Adeosun, Bwari, Ohinoyi of Ebira land, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim, chairman of Ajaokuta Local Government, representatives of workers’ union, experts in mines and steel as well as other stakeholders were expected at the debate.
The angry lawmakers went on with the debate without the lawmakers but resolved to set up an investigative committee to probe the Ajaokuta Steel Complex.
