The Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Research, Documentation and Strategy, Oronto Douglas, is dead. He was 49 years old.
According to Saharareporters, Douglas, 49, died early Thursday morning, from cancer-related complications.
Family sources said he passed away at the State House Clinic in Abuja.
Reports had it that Douglas, a close confidant of President Jonathan, was greatly shattered by Jonathan’s loss at the March 28 presidential elections.
He is survived by a wife and children.
