Oyeyemi was arraigned by the police on 10- count charges bordering on terrorism and killing.
Police Prosecutor, Umar Rabiu, from the Office of Inspector General of Police, told the court that Oyeyemi committed the offences on February 27, August 22 and November 28 2022 in Osogbo.

“The accused person blocked one Golf car with registration number BD 468 BDJ driven by one Oyebanji Kazeem with his bus in company of thugs, the driver narrowly escaped death. He also burnt down the vehicle based on political differences,” he said.
Rabiu noted that the offences contravened Sections 26(1)(a), 2(2), i, h, of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022.
Oyeyemi pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to him. His counsel, Edmund Biriomoni, subsequently filed a bail application for him.
However, Rabiu noted that he will need more time to reply and file a counter application against the bail application filed by the defence counsel.
Ruling, Justice Emmanuel Ayoola ordered that the accused person be remanded in Ile-Ife Correctional Facility and adjourned the matter till March 19, 2024 for hearing of the bail application.
