The three persons abducted by gunmen in Osu, Atakumosa West Local Government Area of Osun State, have regained their freedom.
The abductees including the brother of Seriki Hausa of the town, identified as Usman, were kidnapped over the weekend. Their abductors also demanded N50 million as ransom.
But speaking with The Nation on Monday, the Seriki, Haruna Tanko, disclosed that the three persons have been released by the gunmen.
He, however, did not say if a ransom was paid. The Osun State Police Command is yet to comment on the development.
