Lagos State Government on Thursday said the state recorded two additional coronavirus-related deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from pandemic to 33.
The Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi, disclosed this in a post on his Twitter, recalling that 82 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed on Wednesday, making the total number of confirmed cases in the state to be 1,324.
The commissioner also said 37 additional fully recovered coronavirus patients comprising 19 females and 18 males, including an Indian were discharged on Wednesday, having tested negative twice consecutively, bringing the total number of coronavirus patients discharged in Lagos to 358.
“82 new cases of #COVID-19 Infection were confirmed on Wednesday and the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Lagos is now 1,324.
“37 additional fully recovered #COVID19 patients; 19 females and 18 males including an Indian have been discharged. The total number of COVID-19 patients discharged in Lagos is now 358.
“Lagos recorded two more #COVID19 related deaths bringing total deaths associated to #COVID19 in Lagos to 33,” he said.
