Nigeria again dropped in the latest FIFA ranking released Thursday. Last month, the Super Eagles team dropped to 50th in the world. This month, the team is ranked 51st in the world and 9th in Africa.
Meanwhile world champions Germany retain the first position followed by Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium to make up the five best teams in the world as it remained unchanged from what it was last month.
The release also saw Algeria move up six places and back into the top 10 teams in Africa displacing Côte d’Ivoire.
