Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has said the only visible project he met on ground of the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s first term as governor was the Mokola flyover.
Speaking on Fresh 105.9FM programme, ‘Political Circuit,’ on Saturday, the governor said his administration is linking the five zones in the state because of their uniqueness and what they contribute.
“Our own idea of development is linking the entire state. We have five zones and they have their uniqueness and what they bring to Oyo State.
“We have successfully linked Ibadan to Iseyin. We are linking Oyo and Ogbomoso to Iseyin. We are linking Maya to Eruwa, Eruwa to Ibadan. The previous administration, the only thing I saw that is visible in their first term is that Mokola bridge. In the second term, they did few roads.
“All the roads we are fixing in Oyo State, if you aggregate them together, it is about 500km altogther, that is massive.
“We will only spend our money on things that we believe will bring value to our people,”Makinde said.
