In order to ensure telecommunications sector strives among its counterparts, the Executive Vice Chairman (EVC) of Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr. Aminu Maida, has secured partnerships and facilitated collaboration with countries around the world.
One of these nations is Sweden, a Scandinavian country in Europe.
Speaking during the Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria, Annika Hahn-Englund’s courtesy visit his office in Abuja, Maida talked about areas of the ongoing partnership between the commission and Sweden, especially in the area of capacity and skills development.
The EVC took advantage of Hahn-Englund’s visit to highlight the knowledge pillar of the strategic plan of the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr Bosun Tijani, in which the sector has been strengthened through opportunities for the NCC staff.
Speaking, Hahn-Englund reiterated the Swedish Embassy’s unwavering commitment to further developing existing relations, adding that both Nigeria and Sweden have much to gain in their diplomatic and economic relations.
