Nigerians have ve kicked against the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari to disable the comment section on his Twitter handle.
A visit to the President’s Twitter handle, @MBuhari, indicated that he had restricted comments to his tweets from January 15, 2021.
Attempts to comment on the President’s posts from January 15 proved abortive, as the message that keeps coming up says “people mentioned in the conversation can reply.”
With this, many Nigerians on Twitter can no longer express their grievances or support government policies via the president’s handle.
The restrictions became noticeable when many Nigerians wanted to react to the appointment of new service chiefs announced via the President’s handle on Tuesday.
