Oyo State Health Insurance Agency (OYSHIA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University College Hospital (UCH) in order to have a seamless management of enrollees.
The agency’s Executive Secretary, Dr Sola Akande, disclosed this while featuring on a radio programme in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital at the weekend.
The OYSHIA boss said the agency has had a tremendous impact in the lives of the people that have enrolled.
“I am happy to announce to you that OYSHIA has signed an MoU with the University College Hospital in order to have a seamless management of enrollees.
“That means, rather than the way we are doing it before that you go to the UCH, you spend your money and then we do a refund, this time round, you can go to the UCH and not spend your money at all. That is for tertiary cases alone,” Akande said.
