The immediate past governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola, has described the claim of his successor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, that he employed 12,000 workers after he lost the July 16 governorship election as false and unfounded.
Recall that barely 24 hours into his administration, Adeleke sacked 12,000 workers reportedly employed by Oyetola’s government.
Reacting to the development in a short statement, the spokesperson for Oyetola, Ismail Omipidan, challenged Adeleke to publish the list of the purported 12, 000 workers, asking, “what is the entire workforce of the state?”
Omipidan reminded Adeleke that, “once a lie is told, you need a one and thousand lies to cover it up.”
“In no distant future, the people of Osun will know who the real liars are,” he added.
