Telegram Messenger crashes in Africa, Europe, Middle East

Popular instant messaging service, Telegram messenger, is currently down.

The app, on its Twitter handle, told its over 200 million users worldwide that one of its server clusters was down, affecting Middle East, Africa and parts of Europe.

It assured that it was working to rectify the problem.

“One of our server clusters is down, can affect Middle East and Africa + parts of Europe. Working on bringing everyone back online,” it tweeted.

Since its launch four years ago, Telegram has given WhatsApp strong competition.
