Alaafin of Oyo welcomes third set of twins in one year

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III has welcomed another set of twins through one if his wives, Olori Aanu, Goldmyne TV reports.

The twins, a boy and a girl, are the third set the monarch will be having this year.

His other queens, Memumat Adeyemi and Olaitan Ajoke each welcomed a set of twins this year.

The palace is however yet to confirm the report.

  • NIS begins issuance of 10-year e-passport in Lagos SEE DETAILS The Nigeria Immigration Service NIS says it has commenced issuance of the new 10-year e-Passport to eligible applicants at its Ikoyi office in Lagos According to the NIS Comptroller-General Muhammad Babandede the roll-out has already commenced in Abuja but issuance of the new passport begins in Lagos on Tuesday June 25 The NIS on April 29 announced the commencement of registration for the issuance of its new 10-year e-passports to Nigerians The e-passport was launched by President Muhammadu Buhari on January 16 2019 The cost of the 32-page five-year standard passport is N25 000 while the 64-page five-year standard passport costs N35 000 The 64-page 10-year standard passport costs N70 000 We hope the governor will come on June 25 2019 and work with the Assistant Comptroller-General here to roll out the new passports in Ikoyi Babandede said The Comptroller General said it is mandatory for applicants to first possess a National Identity Number and also be conscious of their identity on both documents We call on Nigerians to be very conscious of their identity You cannot get this passport unless you have a National Identity Number NIN without that don t even approach it he said He advised Nigerians who have a different identity with their NIN to reconcile it before applying for the e-passport He said the National Identity Card Management Commission NIMC has provided facilities which will aid synergy between both agencies We are happy to say that NIMC has provided for facilities working with us here in Ikoyi passport office just like in Abuja and I hope they do same abroad so that wherever we are rolling out a passport national identity number will be available NIS lagos
  • I had nothing whatsoever to do with helicopter stunt at Ore Luxury entrepreneur Julian Osula A video which trended on social media at the weekend showed a Nigerian billionaire who was stuck in Lagos-Benin Expressway traffic being airlifted by an helicopter The unnamed billionaire was said to have called an helicopter to pick him up from the traffic snare The chopper landed right on the expressway and picked him up while many people gathered to witness a piece of the greatness It was later reported by some bloggers that the unknown billionaire was Julian Osula the CEO of Julian s Luxury The CEO has however cone out to debunk the rumour that he was the one in the chopper He said that when the publisher of Precious Eze s blog called him to be sure the story was true he said There is no single truth in that story and I don t know why these people would do this All I did was upload the video when I saw it like every other person did and being a Luxury Entrepreneur I captioned my upload thus REAL LUXURY LIFESTYLE THE POWER OF MONEY PICKING UP A VIP WHO IS STUCK IN TRAFFIC ON THE LAGOS BENIN EXPRESSWAY These purveyors of fake news concluded on their own that I must have been the one who either got picked up or sent the chopper to pick someone and without reaching out to me to ascertain the veracity of their assumption went to press with such story I mean when you called me now I picked and attended to you meaning that I am reachable and I wonder why these your colleagues didn t atleast try to reach me before publishing the kind of falsehood going round against my person I plead therefore Mr Osula continued for the general public to disregard the fake stories going round the Social Media that I Julian Osula of Julian Luxury had anything to do with the incident in question and would like to encourage Bloggers and Online Publishers to verify stories always before publishing them So the billionaire in question remains unknown julianosula
