The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Chief Dotun Sanusi, on Saturday, congratulated the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, and Olori Tobiloba, on the arrival of their twins.
The Jagun Olubadan of Ibadan land in a special congratulatory message to Ooni, applauded the arrival of the twins into the royal kingdom and source of Yoruba race.
Sanusi, who was highly elated over the news, appreciated God for the safe delivery of the new borns, and felicitated with the Arole Oodua and Olori Tobiloba for gifting “Yoruba race set of babies who shall grow with their other siblings to nurture the image of Kabiyesi and preserve the throne for many generations.”
He prayed God to preserve the twins and protect the throne of Oduduwa for the monarch to continually enjoy God’s grace, abundant mercy and unlimited blessings on the seat of his forebears.
Ooni and his Olori were gifted with a prince and Princess as a set of twins in the early hours of Saturday.
Sanusi, a frontline Yoruba businessman and close friend of the Oba Ogunwusi, shares same birthday with the Ooni as they were both born October 17.
Ooni, who will clock the age of 50 later this year and Sanusi, who would be 56 have been celebrating each other annually.
Ooni had at various times described Sanusi as a rare gift to the people of Ibadan, Yoruba race and Nigeria as a whole.
