Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi on Sunday paid a visit to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, in Oyo town.
Fayemi’s visit is coming amid the on-going face off between the Alaafin and the Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti, Oba Ajibade Alabi.
Oba Adeyemi had on Thursday wrote a letter to Fayemi, cautioning him on the crisis in the Ekiti State Traditional Rulers Council and its percived implications on yorubaland.
Responding, the Alawe, who is also the Chairman of Ekiti State Traditional Rulers Council urged Governor Seyi Makinde to caution Alaafin over “ubdue interference” in Ekiti Traditional Rulers issues.
Newspeakonline gathered that Fayemi was at the palace to discuss the issue with Alaafin.
