Real Madrid midfielder, Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday confirmed his break up with long-time girlfriend, Russian model Irina Shayk.
According to Associated Press
, Ronaldo said in a statement: “After dating for five years, my relationship with Irina Shayk has come to an end.
“We believed it would be best for both of us to take this step now.”
The duo started dating in January 2010. Ronaldo last week won the Ballon d’Or for the third time. Shayk, currently a Victoria’s Secret model, won international fame as a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and a lingerie model.
Now, Ronaldo has been rumoured to be dating a new girl in the person of Real Madrid TV reporter, Lucia Villalon.
