Presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and senators elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will meet in Abuja on Wednesday.
Ezrel Tabiowo, the media aide to Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, disclosed this in a statement, on Wednesday.
”The Senate caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will hold a meeting with the National Leader of the ruling party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, today at 2.30pm.
”This was disclosed by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, in a letter read at the start of plenary on Wednesday.
”The letter was signed by the Senate Leader, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi (Kebbi North),” the statement read.
“There will be APC Senate caucus meeting with His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu today, March 16, 2022.
”The meeting between the APC Senate caucus and presidential aspirant is scheduled hold in the Senate President’s conference room,” the statement quoted Lawan to have said.
In January, Tinubu declared his intention to run for president in 2023. He has been consulting party leaders and monarchs on his presidential bid since then.
