The results of Saturday’s presidential and national assembly elections is already being collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In the first set of results seen by Newspeakonline, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, wonhis Polling Unit 085, Ward 3, Sunday Adigun, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State.
The results announced by the Polling Officer showed that 43 persons were accredited for the election.
Tinubu polled 33 votes to beat his closest challenger, Peter Obi of Labour Party, who got 08 votes. Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had one vote.
Also, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, won his polling unit for the ruling APC.
In Sanwo-Olu’s Unit 006, Ward E3, Lagos Island, Tinubu scored 86 votes to defeat Labour Party’s Peter Obi, who pulled 05 votes. Atiku Abubakar of PDP scored 03 votes.
