Nigerian Professional Football League club, Lobi Stars, have ruled out a move for former Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, saying that the club have not made any contact with the player or his representatives.
The club stated this on its official Twitter account, on Wednesday.
“Please be informed that #WeAreLobi is yet to make any contact with representatives of #CristianoRonaldo following his release from Manchester United.
“We wish him the best & #LobiStars will make no further comment on this,” the club tweeted.
Ronaldo and Manchester United agreed mutually to terminate his contract seven months early on Tuesday, following the Portugal international’s interview with Piers Morgan, where he lashed out at Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag, among others.
