Lawmaker representing Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has called for collective action to ensure the full realisation of women’s rights, opportunities and aspirations.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, Alli encouraged continuous dialogue, collaboration as well as solidarity in tackling issues such as gender-based violence, economic empowerment, access to education of a girl-child and leadership representation.
He expressed solidarity with women around the world, applauding their strength, resilience, achievements and unwavering commitment to creating a more just and inclusive society for all.
