Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, will on Monday address an international press conference.
This was contained in a statement issued by LP National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, on Monday.
“His Excellency Peter Obi will address a World Press Conference scheduled for 2pm Monday, November 6 at Campaign Headquarters,” the statement read.
This will be Obi’s first official media conference following his loss at the Supreme Court.
The development is also coming a week after his campaign spokesperson, Yunusa Tanko, debunked claims that Obi had gone into hiding following the apex court judgement.
Tanko said the LP candidate travelled out of the country long before the court notice arrived.
He also hinted that the party’s presidential flag bearer will address Nigerians once he returns to the country.
