The Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) has struck out the petitions of the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate seeking the cancellation of presidential election results in Kano and Lagos States.
Ruling on the petitions, the tribunal held that the petitioners did not join Peter Obi and Senator Rabiu Kwankwanso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), who scored the majority of votes in the two states respectively.
“Allegations of results manipulation in Lagos are vague. The petitioners failed to show the polling units where the results manipulation occurred,” the court held.
