The Queen of England on Friday bestowed an MBE award on Grace Ladoja, daughter of former Governor of Oyo state, Senator Rashidi Ladoja.
Grace shared the news on her Instagram account with a picture of herself and the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, at Buckingham Palace.
Grace, who has been managing UK Grime music icon, Skepta since 2014, is considered one of UK’s most promising media executives.
A renowned cultural advisor, Grace has also worked with artistes brands such as Supreme, Barbie, FKA Twigs and more.
An MBE is an award given by the Queen to an individual for outstanding service to the community or local ‘hands on’ service.
MBE stands for Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
