Oyo State Government has commenced a three-day leadership retreat for political office holders.
The Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Prince Dotun Oyelade, in a statement on Tuesday, said that the ongoing leadership retreat is the third leadership since 2019.
According to Oyelade, this year’s retreat, themed, ‘Adaptive Leadership Strategies in an Uncertain Time,’ will commence on Tuesday, October 3 and end on Thursday October 5, at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan.
He said some of the topics to be treated include Adaptive Leadership Strategies; Procedures, Ethics and Ethos within Government Establishment and Building a Sustainable Structure for Implementation, Internal Monitoring and Evaluation.
Other topics are Securing an Enduring Legacy in and out of Office and Information Management within the System.
Some of the speakers include the MD/CEO, First Bank of Nigeria, Dr. Sola Adeduntan; Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Olanike Adeyemo; Head of Service, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni; Commissioners for Finance, Budget and Planning, Justice and Information and Orientation among others.
The 2023 leadership retreat will be declared open by Governor Seyi Makinde.
