The Executive Secretary of the Oyo State Health Insurance Agency (OYSHIA), Dr Sola Akande, has disclosed that the agency will flag off some its community-based health insurance from Monday, March 6, to Thursday, March 9, 2023.
The OYSHIA boss made the disclosure while featuring on a radio programme over the weekend.
He urged people in Sepeteri and Tede axis to make themselves available for the programme.
“We will be flagging off some community this week. Sepeteri on Monday, Tede on Tuesday while Kumapayi and Kajorepo will come on board on Thursday. One of the key things of all the flag off we are having is our major adoptees.
“We are bringing in 4,000 lives that Governor Seyi Makeinde has promised. We will be doing some in Sepeteri, 1,250 in Tede on Tuesday, and 1000 in kajorepo on Thursday.
“These are the ways actually to get our people and citizens of these various communities to begin to get into health insurance. We have people that have abducted lives and our key abductor in OYSHIA as of date is Governor Seyi Makinde that has abducted 4,000 lives and those are the lives we will be bringing on board,” he said.
