As Muslim faithful commenced the Ramadan fasting, the Chairman of Fresh FM Nigeria, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, has solicited prayers for Nigeria’s prosperity.
Ayefele in a special message to Muslims all over the world, urged them to pray for Nigeria, especially as the country is experiencing harsh economic and social conditions.
The gospel artist congratulated Muslim faithful on the commencement of the annual fasting, urging them to be steadfast in their worship and sacrifice of their human comfort, as a precursor to obtaining the blessings of Ramadan.
“I urge you all to remain faithful to the commandments of Allah and the guidance of Prophet Mohammed in this holy month. It is my fervent belief that your prayers shall be accepted and Allah’s blessings shall be showered on you and our dear nation.
“Brothers and sisters, Ramadan offers a rare opportunity for the forgiveness of sins, piety and supplications. Kindly use this window of grace to forgive fellow human beings and pray for Nigeria, especially as our dear nation is experiencing very harsh economic and social conditions,” he said.
Ayefele further enjoined Muslims to practise personal sacrifices, love, forgiveness and kindness towards the needy in the society, for the acceptance of their prayers and supplications.
He urged Muslims to stay tuned to all Fresh FM stations, Blast FM and Tiwa-n-Tiwa FM on terrestrial and digital platforms during the period of fasting in order to receive relevant spiritual messages through special Ramadan lectures, sermons and music.
