Oyo State Health Insurance Agency (OYSHIA) has revealed that its existing enrollees can re-enroll for the family plan package at the old rate of N28,000 before January 31, 2024.
The agency’s Executive Secretary, Dr. Sola Akande, disclosed this while featuring on a radio station in Ibadan, on Saturday.
“We want to encourage people to re-enroll on our family plan at our former rate of N28,000. Family plan this year, commencing from January 1 has changed from N28,000.
“We have a family of four and we are introducing a family of six right from January. Family of four is now N47,250 and the family of six is N60,750. We started this programme from December 1, 2023 till end of January to say that, people that are on family plan already, you can renew at former rate.
“Some have renewed and we want to extend that till the end of January to be able to have more families renew.
“Those who are already on OYSHIA family plan should renew before the end of January and they are to pay the old rate. If you don’t do it before the end of January, you will pay the new rate.
“If your family plan is ending January, February or March, it is better for you to renew now. That is what it means. Don’t just say, I still have family plan that will run till February or March. Renew now and renew at old rate,” the OYSHIA boss said.
