Grammy-award singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has made a surprising career announcement on his plans to venture into acting.
The singer via his Instagram story, expressed his desire to embrace roles that involve kissing scenes and handling firearms in movies.
He wrote in pidgin: “Shebi I tell una I one dey act film!…I just want dey kiss and shoot a gun for a movie. Daz all!!”
His revelation came barely 24 hours after he was spotted with prolific Nollywood filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan.
Meanwhile, Wizkid has also revealed that he is considering extending his break from music.
The ‘Essence’ crooner, who initially announced that he would be out of the studio for three or four years, said he was now considering extending the break to six years.
“Loving every bit of this holiday. Might extend to six years,” he wrote on his Instagram story.
