The Oyo State Health Insurance Agency has concluded arrangement to train its service provider on efficient service delivery.
The Executive Secretary of the agency, Dr Sola Akande disclosed this on a radio program.
According to him, the training is to improve service delivery and make service providers to be accountable.
He added that operational guidelines will also be discussed at the training.
“We are not going to compromise with any facility provider again and after the training if any service provider say they cannot abide by the guidelines of OYSHIA, they will be allowed to go.
“We will be training head of institutions, head of medical unit and administrators, deck officers and head of service providers; after the training, we will begin to ask for accountability.
“We want to state to all our providers that they should be rest assured that services will improve on the scheme and their rights will not be denied,” he said.
